This is actually my first year in art, I started in March 4th at the age of 16(I have a goal calendar in my wall lol), my main inspirations to start were ultimatemarerickx's work and this artwork by Tomycase
I remember seeing this and feel ASFJAGFGKDF inside it was like a switch <3, I felt VERY overwhelmed by...everything! and the first thing I started to draw was a mannequin from a naschis' tutorial (amazing artist *-*) over and over. After that I studied a few basic things about anatomy and rushed to study Toru Nakayamas style (Megaman Zero's artist) I just loved everything about it and would draw MMZ stuff everyday, I remember feeling VERY stressed trying to figure out how the lines were made , if I should do it digitally, and things that I really wasn't supposed to be worrying about so soon, months later I realized I wasn't going to get anywhere without solid anatomy knowledge (which I'm still working on) so I went to YouTube and thankfully found a looooot of helpful material, I realized that getting out my comfort zone in drawing (in this case Toru Nakayamas style drawings) always led to an important improvement and something really fun.
My artworks in these last months are something I really like! My Prometheus drawing did so well that I started feeling envious about it XD since my other new drawings didn't recieve as much attention, but I guess there's highs and lows in art, and with life too, I actually moved to a new school this year and I took more time than I'm willing to admit to start feeling comfortable in the class (sometimes its faster, sometimes it isn't T_T), been also thinking about what I'm going to do and my dreams(Things are starting to look more clear now!). Overall I'm happy with my improvement as my first year in art. I met cool people here in DeviantArt that has been supporting me a lot too, thanks a lot everyone <333
. Looking for an even better year now!
